The Vermont Attorney General’s Office has instituted several programs to keep Vermonters more safe and secure on the internet. (See The Vermont Cyber Security Project for businesses.) On May 29, 2012, Attorney General Bill Sorrell, with Essex High School Principal Robert Reardon, hosted a presentation by Facebook, the largest social networking site on the internet, for parents, students, and school staff to show them how to be safe when using Facebook. Topics included: The session concluded with a Q & A session.
