Patient / Residential Abuse

The Medicaid Fraud and Residential Abuse Unit in the office, in addition to handling fraud investigations, also reviews all complaints of patient abuse, exploitation or neglect in all health care facilities that receive Medicaid funds. This unit also investigates similar complaints arising from any Medicaid funded program, including, for example, transportation of patients and respite care.
