Sorrell Announces Public Hearing on Certification of Law Enforcement OfficersCONTACT: Janet Murnane, Deputy Attorney General, (802) 828-3173 October 15, 2010 On October 20, 2010, from 10:00 until 12:00 a.m., the Attorney General's Office will host a public hearing on H.578, the Certification of Law Enforcement Officers in Vermont. The hearing will review the issues regarding the connection between physical fitness standards and full and part-time certification of Vermont law enforcement officers. The public is invited to attend this hearing and provide input on this issue. The meeting will be held at the Attorney General's Office, 109 State Street (Third Floor), Montpelier, Vermont. |
