Press ReleasesFormer Vermont State Trooper Pleads Guilty To DUICONTACT: Ultan Doyle, Assistant Attorney General, (802) 828-5512 November 4, 2011 Attorney General William H. Sorrell announced today that on November 3, 2001, Joshua P. Lemieux, age 39, of West Rutland, Vermont pleaded guilty in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Rutland County, to one misdemeanor count of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Lemieux was sentenced to a $500 fine. The conviction stemmed from an incident on October 7, 2010. Mr. Lemieux, who has since resigned, was not on duty at the time. |
