Press ReleasesWilliamstown Woman Sentenced For Selling HeroinCONTACT: Annika Frostick, Assistant Attorney General, (802) 828-5585 October 22, 2009 The Vermont Attorney General's Office announced today that Laura Hernandez, 54, of Williamstown, Vermont was sentenced on October 20, 2009 to three to fifteen years in prison by Vermont District Court Judge Grearson. Hernandez was found guilty by a Washington County jury, in January 2009, of two felony counts of Sale of Heroin. Ms. Hernandez was arrested in December 2006 as part of the large scale drug investigation in the Barre area known as Operation Granite Streets. Hernandez currently has seven additional drug-related charges pending in Washington District Court. |
